The mandir is closed between eleven in the morning and six in the evening.
Mornings are quieter and cooler for darshan. The kshetra is at its fullest during Das Lakshan Parva and the other parvas on the calendar.
The hall built in 1982-83, where the kshetra's religious and cultural programmes are held. Two or three rooms alongside it are kept for visiting munis and aryikas.
