What the trust collects, why it collects it, and what you can ask the trust to do about it.

The site was built and is maintained for the trust by Tatvarth Systems LLP. They keep it running and can see what is stored in it, but the information belongs to the trust and is used only for the trust's own work.
This policy covers ambajogaijainmandir.com and nothing else. When you call the office, send a WhatsApp message or write by email, we handle what you share in the same way, and this policy describes that too.
Pages on this site link out to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Wikimedia Commons. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website, and their policy applies rather than ours.
The short version: one form, ten fields, and only if you choose to fill it in.
The member registration form is the only place on this site where you can type anything about yourself. Nothing else on the site collects information in the background. The one exception is the registration form's own bot check, described under How we protect it: while that form is open, Cloudflare looks at your browser and your network address to satisfy itself you are a person. It is not used to identify you, and we never store it.
When you call, message or email the trust, we keep what you send for as long as we need it to answer you. That is ordinary correspondence, not a database entry.
Cloudflare, who host this site, keep standard server logs of requests to it, including IP addresses. Those logs exist so the site can be kept running and secure. We do not use them to build a picture of you.
This part matters, so it is worth stating plainly.
Everything we hold has a reason attached to it.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it or hand it to anybody for their own marketing. There is no arrangement of that kind and there never has been.
The site sets one cookie and stores one small value in your browser. Neither identifies you.
Nobody else. We would not hand anything over on a request that had no legal basis behind it.
Registrations go into a database run by Cloudflare, who host this site. Cloudflare operates servers in many countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside India. That is ordinary for a website hosted this way, and we rely on Cloudflare's own safeguards for it.
The sangh register is a standing record of the trust, in the same way a paper register always was, so a membership entry stays until you ask us to remove it.
Suggestions stay while the committee is acting on them. Emails, WhatsApp threads and call notes stay while the matter is open and for a reasonable period after it closes.
Ask us to delete something and we will, unless a law requires the trust to keep it.

Write to the trust office at contact.ambajogaijainmandir@gmail.com or call +91 98607 41008. Tell us your name and the phone number you registered with, so we can find the right entry. We answer within thirty days, and usually a good deal sooner.
If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, say so to the same office and the committee will look at it again.
The member register is meant for adults. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should fill the form in for you and stays responsible for what is entered.
We do not knowingly collect a child's details on our own initiative. If you believe a child's details reached us without a parent knowing, write to us and we will remove them.
The site runs entirely over HTTPS. The registration form is checked on the server before anything is saved, and carries a hidden field that catches automated submissions without troubling a real visitor. Behind that sit two more guards: Cloudflare Turnstile, which satisfies itself you are a person without setting you a puzzle, and a limit on how many times one network address may submit the form in a minute. Your network address is used for those checks as the request passes through and is never written to the register.
The site also sends browser security headers that stop it being framed inside another site, block content type guessing, and switch off interest based advertising cohorts.
No system is perfectly safe, and we will not pretend otherwise. If information you gave us is ever exposed in a way that could harm you, we will tell you and the relevant authority without waiting.
When this policy changes we update the date shown at the top of the page. If a change materially affects what happens to information you have already given us, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the text.
