Daan reaches this trust by bank transfer, not through this website. When a mistake can be corrected, and how to ask.

At a glance
This policy covers daan to Shree 1008 Vimalnath Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra, Ambajogai, chadhav and boli amounts pledged at the kshetra, and any other contribution the trust receives.
Member registration is free. There is nothing to refund there.
No money changes hands on this website.
The site has no payment page, no card form and no UPI link. Daan reaches the trust in one of three ways: a bank transfer to the account published on the Daan and Contact pages, cash or a cheque handed in at the trust office, or an amount pledged in person at a chadhav during a festival.
Because the trust is dealing with a bank transfer rather than a gateway transaction, a correction is a manual matter. It is slower than a card refund and it depends on the trust's bank statement, which is why the steps below ask for a reference number.
A completed daan is not refunded.
A daan is an offering, not a purchase. Once it reaches the trust it is applied to seva, to the kshetra's upkeep, to jirnoddhar, or to whichever nidhi you gave it towards, often within days. Reversing it would mean taking back something already given to the kshetra.
The exceptions below exist to fix genuine mistakes, not to undo a considered decision.
The trust will return an amount where:
Write to the trust office or call. Have these ready, because without them the trust cannot match your transfer against its bank statement:
Email is better than a phone call for this, because it leaves both sides with a record.
The trust checks the request against its own bank statement. That is the only proof it can act on, so a request that cannot be matched cannot be processed.
Once it is verified, the amount goes back to the account it came from and to no other account. This is deliberate: it is what stops somebody else claiming your donation back.
Expect the transfer within 7 to 10 working days of verification. Your bank may take a day or two more to show it. The trust charges nothing for a correction and does not deduct anything from the amount returned.
If the trust concludes that the transfer was a genuine, intended daan, it will tell you so and explain why, rather than leaving the request unanswered.
A chadhav or boli amount pledged and accepted at the kshetra is a commitment, and the trust budgets against it. It is not refunded once the boli is awarded.
If your circumstances change before the boli is awarded, tell the committee. They would far rather hear it early than count on an amount that is not coming.
The trust office issues a receipt for what it receives. Ask for one at the time, or write to the office with your transfer details and it will be sent to you.
The trust does not currently hold an 80G certificate, so daan to it is not tax deductible today. We would rather say that plainly than let anybody give under a wrong impression. If the certificate is granted, the Daan pages will be updated.
Write to the trust office with your UTR number, the date and the amount. Email leaves both sides a record.
