Deepotsav at the kshetra, with the whole of it lit through the evening. The nirvan laddu is offered at dawn, marking Bhagwan Mahavir's liberation from Pavapuri and the start of Vira Nirvana Samvat 2553. The Jain new year itself, with Gautam Gandhar's Kevalgyan, follows the next day.
